CityBlock 3 Lancaster opens September 2012 and is situated in the city centre on Penny Street, with excellent transport links to Lancaster University campus and within walking distance of the University of Cumbria.  The block comprises of two separate accommodation wings around a central, internal courtyard.

The Penny Street Wing comprises 57 standard and superior-plus single ensuite bedrooms over 4 floors.  These are in clusters of 12 or 15 with use of a large shared contemporary communal living space with open plan, fully fitted and equipped kitchen on each floor.  All communal living spaces look out over the central courtyard.  The block also provides students with the added choice of 9 superior-plus self-contained ensuite studios and a studio apartment.

The Thurnham Street Wing comprises 5 individual townhouses with either 9 or 6 ensuite bedrooms.  Each townhouse shares a contemporary communal living space with open plan, fully fitted and equipped kitchen located on the ground floor.  All townhouse bedrooms look out over the central courtyard.
